Wolfburn Kylver -Release 2 700ml

Wolfburn Kylver Series Release 2 “Uruz” is a limited-edition Highland single malt Scotch whisky from Wolfburn Distillery, released in May 2017 as the second edition of the distinctive Kylver Series.

Named after the Kylver Stone, one of the earliest known examples of the Viking runic alphabet, this release features the Uruz rune, representing the aurochs or wild ox. The whisky was drawn from a combination of ex-bourbon casks and a second-fill Oloroso sherry cask, creating a characterful balance of fruit, spice, oak and sherry influence. Only 1,450 individually numbered bottles were produced.

The nose shows tropical fruit, pineapple, mango and coconut water, with hints of ginger and earthy character. The palate develops raisins, brown sugar, pear and peach, supported by gentle oak and warming spice. The finish is long and warming, with lingering ginger and cinnamon spice.

A highly collectible early Wolfburn Kylver Series release, offering whisky enthusiasts a chance to explore one of the distillery's formative limited editions.
