Tomatin Five Virtues Wood 700ml

Tomatin Five Virtues Wood 700ml is the first expression in Tomatin’s distinctive Five Virtues series, a limited-edition collection celebrating the natural elements involved in whisky production.

The Wood edition highlights the importance of oak maturation, using a carefully selected combination of French, American and Hungarian oak casks. This unique combination creates a complex and rounded Highland single malt with a rich influence from the different oak varieties. Only 6,000 bottles were produced.

The nose is complex and rounded, with warming toasted notes and oaky spice. On the palate, brown sugar, orange peel, soft vanilla and rich oak spice create a character reminiscent of a well-balanced Old Fashioned cocktail. The finish is long, smooth and richly spiced, with lingering oak and sweetness.

A distinctive limited-edition Tomatin single malt, offering whisky enthusiasts an opportunity to experience the influence of three different oak varieties in one expression.
