Tomatin Five Virtues Water 700ml

Tomatin Five Virtues Water 700ml is the fifth and final release in Tomatin’s distinctive Five Virtues series, inspired by the five elements of Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal and Water. This limited-edition Highland single malt pays tribute to the Alt-na-Frith burn, Tomatin’s private water source running through the distillery grounds.

The Water expression uses winter-distilled spirit, creating a heavier and fuller character, and is matured in a combination of sherry butts and second-fill ex-bourbon barrels. Only 6,000 bottles were produced worldwide.

The nose offers mature fruit, chocolate honeycomb and rich sweetness. On the palate, smooth toffee, marzipan and blood orange marmalade combine with deeper dried-fruit and oak notes. The finish is warming, long and oily, leaving lingering dark chocolate and gentle spice.

A distinctive and limited Tomatin single malt, ideal for collectors and whisky enthusiasts looking to complete or add to the Five Virtues series.
