Sideburn 31 Year Old – Whisky Sponge Edition No.95 is a remarkable multi-vintage blended malt Scotch whisky from Decadent Drinks, part of the highly distinctive Whisky Sponge series.

Originally made by William Grant & Sons, this small-batch release brings together whisky from a 1992 second-fill barrel and a 1993 first-fill barrel, which were married together before being bottled at natural cask strength. Just 404 bottles were produced.

The nose is deeply rich and honeyed, with ripe green and yellow fruits, sweet malt, custard, citrus, wax and dessert-wine character. On the palate, layers of honey, beeswax, sweet wine, dried exotic fruits and citrus marmalade create a luxurious and textured profile. The finish is long, fruity and honey-led, with lingering waxy sweetness and mature fruit character.

A beautifully mature and distinctive Whisky Sponge release, making Sideburn 31 Year Old an excellent addition for collectors and enthusiasts of characterful, limited-edition Speyside-style blended malts.
