The Macallan Classic Cut 2022 Edition is a distinctive Speyside single malt Scotch whisky from The Macallan’s annual Classic Cut series, created to highlight the distillery’s approach to exceptional oak and spirit.

The 2022 edition was matured in a combination of European and American oak casks, bringing together the influence of different wood types to create a layered and expressive character. The result is a whisky with bright fruit, creamy sweetness and gentle spice.

The nose opens with a fresh medley of grapefruit, peach, apple and orange, alongside vanilla sponge, oak, fruit blossom and almonds. On the palate, fresh fruit, caramel and a touch of chocolate are joined by lemon sponge, nuts, oak and light spice.

The finish is sweet and creamy, with warming spice lingering gently alongside the fruity and oak notes.
