Gone Grant 31 Year Old 1993–2024 – Whisky Sponge Edition No.89 by Decadent Drinks is a remarkable Speyside single malt Scotch whisky from a closed distillery, presented under the distinctive Whisky Sponge series.

Distilled and filled in 1993, this whisky matured for 31 years in a single second-fill barrel before being bottled in 2024. Only 230 bottles were produced. The distillery is Caperdonich, formerly known as Glen Grant No. 2, hence the playful “Gone Grant” name.

The whisky has an elegant, mature character with ripe green and tropical fruits, wax, cedarwood, lanolin and delicate floral notes on the nose. The palate is beautifully textured, bringing crystallised honey, dried fruit, mineral oil, soft cereal and gentle spice.

The finish is long, warming and elegantly waxy, with lingering fruit, honey and mineral notes. Its understated oak influence allows the mature Speyside spirit to remain at the forefront.
