Glen Elgin 30 Year Old 1978–2008 – Cask #4511 by Adelphi is a beautifully mature Speyside single malt Scotch whisky, distilled in 1978 and bottled in 2008 after three decades of maturation.

This single-cask Adelphi Selection showcases a wonderfully complex mature Glen Elgin character. The nose develops layers of apricot, glace fruits, greengage, ripe figs and rich banana cake, followed by a comforting note of old-fashioned rice pudding.

On the palate, cooked pears, sour plums, sherbet and caramelised sugar combine with a subtle touch of mint. The finish is elegant and lingering, bringing waxed apples, tobacco and refreshing sherbet.

A highly mature and distinctive Glen Elgin from Adelphi, this 30-year-old expression is an excellent choice for collectors and enthusiasts of vintage Speyside single-cask whisky.
