Glen Elgin 12 Year Old 2010–2023 – Oloroso Hogshead Finish by James Eadie is a distinctive Speyside single malt Scotch whisky, distilled in 2010 and bottled in 2023 after 12 years of maturation.

This single-cask expression was given a 30-month finish in a refill European oak Oloroso sherry hogshead, adding layers of rich dried-fruit and nutty character to Glen Elgin’s naturally fruity spirit.

The nose offers treacle, toffee, golden syrup, raisins, candied almonds and orange peel. On the palate, ripe banana, sultanas and malt loaf are joined by black tea and a touch of pepper. The finish develops into chai spices, cardamom and brown sugar, leaving a warm and richly flavoured impression.

Bottled as an export-exclusive James Eadie release from cask #361161, with only 273 bottles produced, this is an appealing choice for collectors and enthusiasts of distinctive Speyside single-cask whisky.
