Coleburn 29 Year Old 1981–2010 – Connoisseurs Choice by Gordon & MacPhail is a rare Speyside single malt Scotch whisky from the now-closed Coleburn distillery, independently selected and bottled by Gordon & MacPhail.

Distilled in March 1981 and bottled in June 2010, this 29-year-old expression was matured in refill sherry hogsheads. It forms part of Gordon & MacPhail’s historic Connoisseurs Choice range, a collection created to showcase single malts from distilleries across Scotland, including many lesser-seen and closed distilleries.

The nose is rich and fruity, with citrus zest, walnut, fragrant wood oils, dried fruits and chewy sultanas. On the palate, the whisky is medium-bodied and silky, bringing together sherry-soaked dried fruit, gentle smoke and sweet barley malt. The finish is pleasantly long, with warming fruit and subtle mature oak.
