Benrinnes 21 Year Old 1992 is a powerful and distinctive Speyside single malt Scotch whisky from the highly regarded Diageo Special Releases 2014 collection.

Distilled in 1992 and bottled in 2014, this 21-year-old Benrinnes was matured in European oak ex-sherry casks, allowing the naturally robust Benrinnes spirit to develop deep sherry-driven character. The limited release produced just 2,892 bottles.

The nose is rich and savoury, with dried fruit, dates, roasted nuts and subtle struck-match notes. On the palate, dark dried fruits, allspice and chocolate combine with a dense, meaty character and hints of flint and tar. The finish is long and warming, carrying the rich sherry influence through to the end.
