Benriach 27 Year Old 1991–2019 Cask #1850 is an exceptional Speyside single malt Scotch whisky from Benriach’s acclaimed Batch 16 Single Cask collection.

Distilled on 24 October 1991 and bottled in 2019, this 27-year-old single-cask expression was matured in a Madeira hogshead. Cask #1850 produced just 287 bottles, making this a particularly limited and distinctive mature Benriach.

The nose opens with baked orange, treacle toffee and honeysuckle, developing into layers of toasted brioche, roast coffee and black pepper. On the palate, nectarine, fig roll and clotted cream are balanced by a touch of herbal freshness, while apricot and tobacco leaf lead into a long, warming, spiced finish.

A superb example of mature Benriach, Cask #1850 showcases the distinctive influence of long-term Madeira maturation, combining rich fruit, dessert-like sweetness, spice and mature oak in a highly limited Batch 16 single-cask release.
