Benriach 25 Year Old 1993–2019 Cask #7944 is an exceptional Speyside single malt Scotch whisky from Benriach’s acclaimed Batch 16 Single Cask collection.

Distilled in 1993 and bottled in 2019, this 25-year-old single-cask expression was matured in a Claret wine cask. Cask #7944 was one of the Batch 16 releases specifically allocated to New Zealand and other Asia-Pacific markets, making it a particularly interesting release for collectors in the region.

The nose reveals sweet honeysuckle, cherry blossom and grape vine, complemented by golden syrup and vanilla. On the palate, red apple and grape combine with honey and vanilla cream, while fresh oak adds structure and clarity. The finish brings candy floss and red grape skin, leaving a refined, lingering sweetness.

A superb mature Benriach, Cask #7944 showcases the influence of Claret wine maturation on the distillery’s fruity Speyside spirit, delivering an elegant balance of floral notes, red fruit, honey, vanilla and polished oak.
