The Balvenie DoubleWood 12 Year Old is a classic Speyside single malt Scotch whisky renowned for its distinctive double-cask maturation.

The whisky is first matured in traditional American oak casks, developing layers of vanilla and warming oak spice, before being transferred to European oak sherry casks for an additional period of maturation. This second cask adds depth, complexity and rich fruity character.

On the nose, expect sweet fruit, Oloroso sherry, honey and vanilla. The palate is smooth and mellow, bringing together nutty sweetness, cinnamon spice and delicate sherry notes, leading to a long, warming finish.
