Auchroisk 20 Year Old – Diageo Special Release 2010 is a mature Speyside single malt Scotch whisky from Auchroisk Distillery, bottled as part of Diageo’s prestigious Special Releases 2010.

Distilled in 1990 and bottled in 2010, this limited expression was matured in a combination of American and European oak casks. Just 5,856 individually numbered bottles were produced, making it a distinctive release from a distillery whose single malts are less commonly encountered as official bottlings.

The nose is rich with vanilla, honey, coconut and almond, followed by burnt sugar, sultanas and cinnamon. The palate is creamy, warming and richly textured, bringing together toffee, vanilla, honey, cereal biscuits, sultanas and coconut. The finish is relatively short and gently dry, with oak and a touch of cinnamon spice.

A highly characterful 20-year-old Auchroisk and an appealing addition to collections focused on Diageo Special Releases and mature Speyside single malts.
