Teaninich 13 Year Old 2010–2023 – Refill Marsala Hogshead Finish by James Eadie is an intriguing Highland single malt Scotch whisky from Teaninich Distillery, distilled in 2010 and bottled by James Eadie in 2023.

This single-cask expression was matured before receiving an extended 36-month finish in a refill European oak Marsala hogshead, adding layers of rich fruit and sweet wine-cask character to Teaninich's fresh Highland profile. Only 319 bottles were produced.

The nose offers plums, strawberry jam, damsons, raspberries, currants and icing sugar. On the palate, waxy and rounded fruit character develops with nectarines, peaches, plums and stone fruits, supported by a touch of cinnamon. The finish is full, long and syrupy, with lingering stewed plum and gentle sweetness.

A distinctive James Eadie single-cask bottling that combines Teaninich's characterful Highland spirit with the rich fruit influence of a Marsala hogshead finish.
