Macallan Art Is A Flower 700ml

The Macallan Art Is The Flower is a distinctive Highland single malt Scotch whisky created in collaboration with the Charles Rennie Mackintosh Society, celebrating Mackintosh’s art, design and connection with nature.

Inspired by Mackintosh’s iconic 1902 stained-glass panel, The Spirit of the Rose, the release features striking packaging influenced by his distinctive artistic style. The name “Art Is The Flower” comes from Mackintosh’s 1902 lecture on art and nature.

The whisky is matured in sherry-seasoned European oak casks, developing a rich and deeply coloured character. The nose brings expressive notes of raisins, figs, polished oak, cherry, almonds, orange and treacle.

On the palate, sweet oak, vanilla, ginger and fresh apple combine with a delicate hint of tea leaf, creating a beautifully layered and refined character. The finish is long, sweet, rich and full, leaving a lingering impression of mature oak, fruit and gentle spice.
