The Macallan Sherry Oak 30 Year Old – 2022 Release is an exceptionally mature Highland single malt Scotch whisky, showcasing the rich and complex character created by long maturation in carefully selected European oak casks seasoned with Oloroso sherry from Jerez, Spain.

Matured for 30 years, this luxurious expression develops The Macallan's signature rich sherry character alongside layers of dried fruit, orange, spice and mature oak. Its naturally deep dark mahogany colour reflects the extensive influence of the sherry-seasoned oak.

The nose is rich and expressive, with orange, cloves, nutmeg, raisins, walnuts and gentle wood spice. The palate is beautifully smooth and full-bodied, revealing dried fruits, sherry-soaked raisins, orange, honeyed figs and subtle chocolate-orange notes, with delicate wood smoke adding depth.

The finish is long, rich and warming, with lingering orange, ginger, cinnamon and mature oak spice.
