Linkwood 30 Year Old 1991–2021 – Gordon & MacPhail is a rare and beautifully mature Speyside single malt whisky from Gordon & MacPhail’s prestigious Connoisseurs Choice range. Distilled at Linkwood Distillery in 1991 and matured for an impressive 30 years, this single-cask expression was bottled in December 2021 from first-fill sherry butt #7268. Only 549 bottles were produced.

The extended maturation in first-fill sherry wood has created a rich and layered profile. The nose develops sherry aromas, lemon peel and blueberry, followed by sweet citrus, stewed raisins and autumnal spices on the palate. The finish is full of rich fruit and gentle herbal character, with the sherry influence complementing Linkwood’s elegant Speyside spirit.

With its 30-year maturation, 1991 vintage, first-fill sherry butt #7268 and limited 549-bottle release, this Linkwood is an excellent collector’s expression. Its Gordon & MacPhail Connoisseurs Choice presentation and long maturation make it a distinctive example of mature Linkwood and a notable addition to any collection of rare Speyside single malts.
