Kininvie 23Yr 1991 (Batch 3) 700ml

Kininvie 23 Year Old 1991 (Batch 3) is a rare official distillery bottling from Kininvie Distillery in Speyside, one of Scotland’s younger malt distilleries. Distilled in 1991 and matured for 23 years, this was released as the third batch of Kininvie’s 23 Year Old single malt range. It was bottled in 2015 in the distinctive 35cl format.

The whisky was matured using a combination of American oak hogsheads and sherry casks, giving the spirit a balance of fresh fruit, honeyed sweetness, floral character and gentle oak spice. Tasting descriptions highlight apple, mango, peach, citrus, honey and malt, with a soft and well-balanced character.

Batch 3 is particularly interesting for collectors because Kininvie releases under its own name are relatively uncommon. Each bottle was individually numbered, making this 23-year-old 1991 vintage a distinctive addition to a collection of historic Speyside single malts.
