John Crabbie 8 Year Old is a modern revival of one of the historic Crabbie whisky expressions, produced by John Crabbie & Co, a name with roots stretching back to 1801 in Edinburgh. Released as part of the brand’s return to whisky, this 8-year-old Highland single malt pays tribute to the original Crabbie 8 Year Old blend while presenting it in a contemporary single malt style.

The whisky was sourced from an undisclosed Highland distillery while John Crabbie & Co was developing its own distillery in Leith. It is non-chill filtered and known for a character combining honeyed fruit, delicate floral notes, malt, vanilla and warming spice, with citrus and orange-oil sweetness developing through the finish.

A distinctive release for fans of independent Scottish whisky brands, John Crabbie 8 Year Old offers a connection between the historic Crabbie whisky tradition and the brand's modern revival.
