This distinctive expression was created to represent the traditional Glenfarclas style and was matured predominantly in first-fill sherry butts. It was released as a Family Reserve rather than carrying a conventional age statement, allowing Glenfarclas to create a commemorative expression focused on its historic house style. The 2015 bottling was produced as a limited release of 12,000 bottles.
