Glenfarclas 50 Year Old – Family Collector Series III is an exceptionally rare Speyside single malt whisky, representing the third release in Glenfarclas’ Family Collector Series. Bottled in 2015 after 50 years of maturation, this limited expression was created to honour George Grant (1874–1949), representing the third generation of the Grant family associated with Glenfarclas.

Matured in ex-Oloroso sherry casks, this remarkable 50-year-old reflects Glenfarclas’ traditional sherry-led style and the distillery’s ability to preserve whisky stocks over several decades. Only 937 bottles were produced worldwide, and each bottle was presented in a distinctive black leather presentation case featuring a silver George Grant emblem, adding significant collector appeal.

With its 50-year age statement, Family Collector Series III designation, 2015 bottling and extremely limited production of 937 bottles, this is a standout Glenfarclas for serious whisky collectors. It is a particularly significant addition to a collection of rare, mature and historically important Speyside single malts.
