Glen Grant 35 Year Old 1985 – Xtra Old Particular by Douglas Laing is a beautifully mature Speyside single malt Scotch whisky, distilled in 1985 and matured for 35 years in a single refill hogshead before being bottled in 2021.

The nose combines spicy damp oak, mocha, raspberries and dark toffee, creating a rich and inviting opening. On the palate, treacle, chocolate-coated raisins and ginger are balanced by a buttery barley character, with layers of mature fruit and warming spice.

The finish develops into allspice, espresso, juicy plums and orange zest, lingering with a rich, warmly spiced character.

Released as part of Douglas Laing’s prestigious Xtra Old Particular (XOP) range, this single-cask Glen Grant was limited to just 183 bottles, making it an appealing addition for collectors and enthusiasts of mature Speyside whisky.
