Glen Elgin 24 Year Old 1985–2009 – Old Malt Cask by Douglas Laing is a mature Speyside single malt Scotch whisky, distilled in May 1985 and bottled in 2009 after 24 years of maturation in a refill hogshead.

The nose opens with custard apples, cooked banana, stewed fruits and sultanas, offering a rich and fruit-forward character. On the palate, banana foam, digestive biscuits and stem ginger combine with subtle notes of cedar and potpourri.

The finish is elegant and lingering, with applewood and crème caramel leaving a smooth, sweet impression.

Bottled as part of Douglas Laing's Old Malt Cask range from cask DL 5124, with only 250 bottles produced, this is an appealing mature Glen Elgin for collectors and enthusiasts of classic independent Speyside bottlings.
