Braeval 36 Year Old 1989–2025 – Whiskyland Chapter Twenty Six by Decadent Drinks is a beautifully mature Speyside single malt Scotch whisky from the historic Braeval distillery, presented as part of the Whiskyland series.

Distilled in 1989 and bottled in 2025 after 36 years of maturation in a refill hogshead, this is a single-cask, natural cask-strength release with just 143 bottles produced. The whisky is also presented without chill filtration and with natural colour.

The profile is remarkably elegant and mature, with expressive notes of honeycomb, floral honey, beeswax and fruit nectar. Further layers of fruit salad, cedarwood, citrus cream, sweetened olive oil, tobacco and sandalwood add complexity and depth.

On the palate, rich honey sweetness, waxy textures and concentrated mature fruit take centre stage, while the long finish continues with wax, honey, ripe fruit and subtle woody notes.
