Blair Athol 9Yr 2011-2020 (North Star Spirits) 700ml

Blair Athol 9 Year Old 2011–2020 is a distinctive Highland single malt Scotch whisky independently bottled by North Star Spirits as part of its Cask Series 010.

Distilled in March 2011 and bottled in June 2020, this 9-year-old single-cask expression was initially matured in a refill hogshead before being finished in an Oloroso sherry cask. Only 308 bottles were produced, making this a limited North Star bottling.

The nose brings strawberry jam, honey, cinnamon and hazelnuts, while the palate develops into cinnamon pastries, dark vanilla toffee and warming baking spices, including allspice, clove and nutmeg. The finish combines toffee apple, salty toffee and oak, leaving a rich and satisfying impression.

A compelling limited Blair Athol single cask, this North Star Spirits release combines the distillery’s rich Highland character with the additional depth and sweetness of an Oloroso sherry finish.
