Benriach 19 Year Old 1997–2016 Cask #96962 is a distinguished Speyside single malt Scotch whisky bottled exclusively for the 60th Anniversary of La Maison du Whisky (LMDW).

Distilled on 14 July 1997 and bottled in September 2016, this 19-year-old single-cask expression was matured in a bourbon barrel before being selected for this special LMDW release. Cask #96962 showcases the elegant, fruit-forward character that Benriach can develop through long maturation in bourbon wood.

The nose offers floral notes, blackcurrant and soft hay, followed by vanilla, vanilla custard, peach, grapefruit and honey on the palate. Subtle tropical fruit and a delicate hint of smoke add further complexity, while the finish brings citrus, honey, gentle wood and light tobacco character.
