A limited-edition Ardnamurchan single malt released in 2024, showcasing the rich influence of Sauternes wine casks on the distillery’s elegant Highland spirit.

This expression uses unpeated Ardnamurchan spirit, initially matured for around five years in ex-Bourbon casks before being re-racked into Sauternes barriques for a further 2.5 years. The extended Sauternes maturation brings a beautiful combination of sweet fruit, honey and subtle savoury spice.

On the nose, expect apricot jam, almond flakes, marzipan, brioche and dried stone fruit. The palate develops notes of seeded bread, green peppercorn sauce, apricot and heather honey, leading to a balanced, dry finish.

A distinctive and highly collectible limited release for fans of Ardnamurchan and wine-cask-finished Scotch whisky.
