A distinctive and adventurous limited-edition single malt from Ardnamurchan Distillery, combining the distillery's peated Highland spirit with the unique character of Mezcal cask maturation.

Made exclusively from 2017 peated Ardnamurchan spirit, the whisky was matured in Bourbon casks for six years before being finished in Mezcal casks for more than eighteen months. This unusual cask combination creates an intriguing balance of coastal peat smoke and vibrant vegetal, herbaceous Mezcal influence.

The nose opens with green, grassy and vegetal notes, followed by crisp Granny Smith apples, green banana and ashy smoke. The palate is bright and herbaceous, with eucalyptus, chalky minerals, seashore character, olive brine, salty capers and flat-leaf parsley. The finish is gently smoky, creamy and sweet with an earthy depth.

With only 4,968 bottles produced worldwide, this 2025 release is an excellent addition for collectors and whisky enthusiasts looking for something distinctive and unusual from Ardnamurchan.
