Ardmore 9 Year Old 2009–2019 – The Whisky Trail is a distinctive Highland single malt Scotch whisky distilled at Ardmore Distillery in 2009 and bottled by Elixir Distillers in 2019 as part of The Whisky Trail Stag Series.

This single-cask release, cask #707915, was matured in an ex-Laphroaig hogshead, bringing together Ardmore's naturally smoky Highland character with additional maritime and peated influence. The release produced 240 bottles.

The nose offers smoky barley, gooseberries, plums, vanilla and gentle coastal notes. On the palate, expect ripe fruit, smoked grass, lime, brine and green pepper, with a sweet and slightly syrupy character developing toward the finish.

A characterful The Whisky Trail independent bottling, ideal for enthusiasts who enjoy peated Highland whisky and distinctive ex-Islay cask influence.
