Color: A center in layers and with mauve shades near the edge. Live and clean
Nose: Clean, characteristic varietal aroma of young tempranillo. Aromas of berries (blackberries, raspberries) and floral notes.
Mouth: Shows a certain amount of characters in the attack, although its acidity is compensated with a warm feeling. It shows a nice finish with rich tannins. The varietal character is noted once again on the palate, with licorice and dairy flavor.
Pairing: This wine goes well with red meat dishes, pastas and cheeses, as well as Spanish tapas.
This Tempranillo red wine comes from the municipality of Villar de Álava, a unique geographical situation, whose vineyards are protected by the Cantabrian Mountains and with a certain influence of the Ebro fluvial microclimate.
Vineyards of mostly calcareous soils that provide its elegance and definition of tempranillo with the fruit power of a good sunning, as it characterizes these Riojan lands.
Made with 100% Tempranillo grapes, the bunches are chosen by hand. After the selection, the grapes are destemmed and ground. The must ferments in tanks at 28º C for four days, four more days for the maceration of the skins with the wine that allows to extract the structure and fruit complexity.
After the secondary fermentation, the wine is transferred to homogenize it in tanks, in which the decantation process is facilitated, preparing it for filtering and bottling.
