The Great Five is one of our most extensive ranges. Dedicated to the Big Five of the African animal kingdom, with these wines we hope to spread a little bit of the wild wonder of the African continent around the world.

Our wines are all handcrafted  which means attention to detail has been given to each and every bottle produced at Stellenview Premium Wines.

Grapes are handpicked and carefully selected to ensure optimum quality, crushed and fermented, then matured in oak barrels. Quality is never compromised in ensuring the ultimate enjoyment of our wine.

Tasting Notes

• Colour: Dark ink.
• Nose: Sweet red cherry fruitiness, expressive red and dark berry.
• Palate: Attractive sweet cherry, ripe banana fruitiliciousness. Integrated tannins with richer profile and long finish.

Food matches:

• Pairs particularly well with freshly-caught game fish or a hearty winter soup
• Try with sashimi and sushi
• Bobotie, ratatouille and curry also taste better with a glass of Pinotage next to the plate
