The Barolo Riserva 10 years by Bel Colle is born in the municipality of Verduno, in the northernmost area of the Barolo appellation. After the harvest operations are completed, the best grapes are fermented with a 15-day maceration on the skins.
The Piemonte wine region is located in northwest Italy, at the foot of the Alps. It is known for producing some of Italy's finest wines, including Barolo and Barbaresco.
Varieties: Monvigliero & Boscatto - 5 years in separate 4KL wooden barrels. The two are blended and aged for a further 5 years in 8KL wooden Allier barrels.
Tasting Notes: dark garnet color, with a bouquet of dried red flowers, raspberry, morello cherry and delicate spicy notes. The sip is structured, with velvety tannins.
Pairings: pair with game and braised or roasted meats.

Aging potential: Barolo and Barbaresco are known for their long aging potential developing a velvety texture with brownish-rust color.
