A superb single malt distilled in 1987 at the famous Willowbank Distillery in Dunedin. Aged for 30 years in an American Oak / ex-bourbon cask, this whisky makes New Zealand the fourth country ever to release a 30 year old single malt (after Scotland, Ireland and Japan).

Since 1987 The Otago has been softly sweetening into the syrupy and silky flavours of rich malt, divine fruit and a buttery mouth feel that leaves lasting flavours.

NOTES Golden mature cedar, sphagnum moss, stone fruits and cigar

PALATE Gentle warming spice with subtle cloves, flavours of apricot and dried Seville orange

FINISH Vanilla and roast almond with a stunningly smooth, malty finish
